Frequently Asked Questions

Is Foothill Family Church associated with a particular Christian denomination?

No, Foothill Family is a non-denominational church. Any Christian, or non-Christian, is welcome to attend. Our pastor, Mike Webb, belongs to Rhema Ministerial Association International.

What do you believe?

In short, we believe in the finished work of Jesus, the infilling of the Holy Spirit, the inerrancy of Scripture, and the authority of the believer. See our Statement of Beliefs for more information or listen to our services.

How many people attend Foothill Family Church?

There are 1200 families who consider Foothill Family their home church. The Sunday Morning service has an average attendance of 450.

What is the music like?

We have contemporary praise and worship that lasts from 20–30 minutes.

Is childcare provided?

"Family" is in our name for a reason. There are classes for children (birth to age twelve) during all services. Our teachers are trained and love children and have a heart to teach them God’s Word and see them grow in their walk with God. Safety is our priority and every teacher goes through a thorough background check.

How long are the services?

The Sunday Morning service lasts about two hours (9:30 AM - 11:45 AM). Healing School is usually an hour and fifteen minutes (6:00 PM - 7:15 PM) but can go longer when Pastor Mike prays for the sick after the message. The Midweek service promptly ends after an hour and fifteen minutes (7:00 PM - 8:15 PM) since it's a school night.

What should I wear?

You'll find people wear all kinds of clothing to our services. As a general rule, attire is business casual on Sunday morning and casual at the other services.

What is Healing School?

Every Sunday evening, Pastor Mike leads Healing School, a unique service that focuses exclusively on what the Bible has to say about healing. It's not a class and there isn't homework; it's called "school" because we are being "schooled" on the subject of healing. Whether or not you're currently struggling with sickness, Healing School will build your faith for living the whole life God intended, as well as teach you how to minister healing to others. You can watch recent Healing School services to get a better idea of what it is like.

Will Pastor Mike pray for me?

If you want hands laid on you for healing, Pastor Mike occasionally prays for the sick during Healing School. If you have another need or there isn't an opportunity for prayer at the service you attend, Pastor Mike or a church staff member will always be glad to pray with you after the service. Stop by the information center in the foyer for more information.
